Lee Tulfer (she/they) is a freelance writer and blogger.  Lee specialises in non-fiction articles – mainly history and place writing – and also writes poetry and occasional reviews.  Their work has been published in iamb, The Pilgrim, The Cardiff Review, the Earth Pathways Diary, and the Redemptorist Press, and they have guest blogged for Green Ink Poetry.  Their poem ‘What I Mean When I Say I Was Brought Up Bilingual’ was longlisted for the Renard Press Spectrum Poetry Anthology Prize in 2022.  From 2021 to 2023 Lee was on the editorial board of Full House Literary Magazine as a poetry submissions reader.

As a translator, Lee specialises in the transcription and translation into English of Dutch genealogy/family history records and documents, mainly from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, as well as occasional more general texts in the areas of history, art and craft.  They have an interest in literary translation, and in 2021 were shortlisted for The Stinging Fly New Translation Bursary.
