I’m a translator, copywriter, and open-source researcher for private clients, research organisations, NGOs, and academia.
Much of my work in recent years has involved watching developments in Russia, amplifying independent voices, and promoting human rights. Over the past decade, I’ve supplied translations to the NGO Rights in Russia, Memorial (Russia’s oldest human rights group), Amnesty International, and a range of media outlets.
My translation of a narrative non-fiction piece by Russian independent media outlet Holod featured in the Winter 2024 (50th anniversary) issue of literary journal Asymptote.
I was a co-translator of the anthology Voices of the Nakba: A Living History of Palestine (Pluto Press, 2021 | Winner of an English PEN Award 2021).
I act as an adviser to the charity Autistica, as a member of its Insight Group, to influence research and policy with the aim of improving the lives of autistic people and advancing public understanding of autism.
I am passionate about human rights and social justice and find it enormously fulfilling to use my skills to do good. I prioritise pro bono work in support of humanitarian and cultural projects.
