I am a freelance educational consultant specialising in access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for examinations. I work closely with schools and colleges, assessors, awarding organisations, and test developers, offering assessments, consultancy, training, and mentoring. I am the author of the last three editions of the Patoss book, Assessing the need for Access Arrangements in Examinations and am currently developing the next edition. Alongside writing, I design and deliver national training courses, working closely with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and awarding bodies to support good practice across the sector.
