L. H. Davies is an author, poet and maker with qualifications in the arts as well as other fields of interest at graduate and postgraduate levels. She has also written and drawn for pleasure over many years. The Children of the Isle: Bloodlines is her first major project in fiction, but she aspires to write more. Over the years she has worked in various roles, regularly participating in the arts in one form or another, which has also included the creation of handmade poetry books, exhibition of work, and sales.
L. H. Davies sometimes draws on some challenging experiences from her own life and weaves that energy into her work, knowing full well what it takes to rise above major difficulties. Her work mirrors many intense interests including the esoteric, natural, spiritual, historical and mythical.
Originally from the South of England, she is a mother, wife, and avid explorer of the human story, regardless of time and background.
