I’m a multi-disciplinary writer, represented by Alexander Cochran at Greyhound Literary. My debut novel will be published by Fleet (Little Brown/Hatchette) in March 2027, and I’m currently working on a play alongside director/dramaturg Marlie Haco.
I won The Fish Short Story Prize in 2023, and a Northern Writers Award for my short fiction collection, Smorgasbord. Other accolades include the BPA Pitch Prize, New Writers Flash Fiction Prize and I’ve been shortlisted for The Bridport Prize, Mslexia, Letter Review, Bath Flash Fiction, Reflex International and The Kay Mellor Fellowship. My short films have been shown at BAFTA, Aesthetica and LOCO film festivals.
I have an MA in Creative Writing from SHU, and my first non-fiction book The Jobbing Actor is out now with Nick Hern Books.
