Her current practice-led PhD thesis is a three-part hybrid novel, using creative writing as a research methodology to critique and reimagine ancient and modern generic illness narratives, and in the process, to address the question: can the hybrid novel communicate the complexities of living with illness (MS) in a more authentic voice than established generic literature?
