I have worked as a translator since 1999, becoming increasingly specialised. I now focus on advertising, architecture, planning and design work. My translation customers range from individuals and businesses to academics and government bodies.

I have translated publications including A History of Advertising, Le Corbusier’s Practical Aesthetic of the City: The treatise ‘La Construction des villes’ of 1910/11, and The making of urban form.

My expertise includes editing and proofreading my own and others’ translations. I can work on a wide range of text types and formats, and can team up with translation colleagues as required – for checking, and on longer or more complex projects.

I teach on translation courses and can provide workshops.
