I write fantasy and historical/legendary fiction for readers aged 9 to adult.

Song Quest (Element, 1999) won the inaugural Branford Boase Award and grew into a trilogy known as the Echorium Sequence.

I’ve worked with publishers including Chicken House, Scholastic, Harper Collins and Templar, as well as publishing a few titles independently.

I was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow for several years, helping university students with their academic writing.
