Karin is a non binary artist and author, who creates needle felted animals of charm and character, who feature in their series of story books for adults and children published with Graffeg.

The Tales of the Turning Year are seasonal folklore inspired picture books for all ages. Sometime to meet your heart. Winter The Lightbringers is a perennial favourite for midwinter hope, The Wish Gatherers for dreams and wishes and The Joy Bringers for Summer small beauties is due to be published in May 2024.
Their joy in the natural world is also reflected in the accessories they make for their sculptures. Karin gathers materials from walks in nature in their local landscape in Wales and uses them along with clay and copper to create baskets, hats, tea sets, mugs and boats. Seasonal joyful pieces.
