Jonny Walker is a children’s author, storyteller and educator with a love of myths, folk tales, poetry and wild places.

He writes imaginative books for young readers. His lively author visits and long-term literacy projects help children discover the power of stories for themselves.

Jonny’s books are published by HarperCollins, Scholastic and Oxford University Press. He specialises in writing educational books for older readers (7+), and writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry. He has also co-authored ’Michael Rosen’s Poetry Videos: How To Get Children Writing and Performing Poem Too’  with Michael Rosen.

Jonny is currently working on manuscripts for two humorous MG fiction titles, on themes of English folklore, dystopia and society.
