Jonas Lane is an acclaimed author and educator who is never happier than when he’s telling a tall tale, whether it’s to his readers or the children he teaches.

Jonas has written several books across a number of different genres, including the hugely popular Lord Thyme-Slipp series, regularly fusing historical fact with hysterical fiction.

Although predominantly classified as a children’s and YA author, Jonas Lane’s books appeal to all ages, his reading audience being those that are still young at heart.

Every books Jonas has had published so far has been rated as 5-star by Amazon reviewers, as well as those using traditional reviewing methods.   The prologue from his book Dragon Chasers: The Knight School has also been included in one of the highly popular Comprehension Ninja series of books published by Bloomsbury.         

In addition to writing novels, Jonas Lane is also a published poet and has written articles both locally and nationally, as well as being a former television and music critic for the Bedfordshire Times newspaper.

When not writing or teaching, Jonas runs his own reading and writing assemblies in schools as well as holding creative writing workshops where he hope to help the next generation of writers and authors. He is keen to visit any school to help inspire and foster a love of reading.
