Jennifer Wong (she/her) is a poet, writer, editor and translator. She is the author of several collections including Letters Home (Nine Arches Press, 2020), which explores migration and the facets of home. Her pamphlet, “time difference”, was released in October 2024 by Verve Poetry Press. Her new collection, Light Year, is forthcoming from Nine Arches Press end of 2025. She is also the author of Identity, Home and Writing Elsewhere: Contemporary Anglophone Chinese Diaspora Poetry (Bloomsbury, 2023) and co-editor of State of Play: Poets of East and Southeast Asian Heritage in Conversation (Outspoken, 2023) and Where Else: An International Hong Kong Poetry Anthology (Verve, 2023).
Jennifer studied English at Oxford. She has an MA in creative writing from University of East Anglia and has a fully-funded PhD in creative writing from Oxford Brookes
She works as a freelance copywriter and editor, and teaches creative writing part-time.
She also reviews and translates (Chinese/English).
