I’m a freelance German to English translator and English-language editor focused on literature, academia, and wine.

My literary translation work has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and Asymptote and I have been shortlisted for the John Dryden Translation Competition. I dabble with writing flash and micro fiction and have been published on fiftywordstories.com, 101words.org and have work forthcoming in Flash Fiction Magazine.

Before becoming a freelancer, I copy edited in-house for international management consultancy McKinsey & Company. During this time I gained an MA in translation with distinction, and since then have gained the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and the Goethe-Institut near-native language qualification, das Große Deutsche Sprachdiplom.
