Jaqueline is a writer of non-fiction, and compiler of anthologies, mainly focusing on social and cultural history; she is now also working on a fiction project.
She studied History of Art at Oxford Brookes where she gained an MA, gaining an award for her dissertation on the first art exhibitions. Her books include Blitz Spirit (Osprey, 2010), How to be a Good Parent (Bodleian Library Publishing, 2014), three collections of Quotations on Cities (Paris, London and New York, Bodleian Library Publishing, 2014 to 2016) and Birds: An Anthology (Bodleian Publishing, 2020).
Jaqueline worked as a commissioning editor in academic and general publishing for more than 30 years, latterly working on an esteemed and award-winning African Studies list. She continues to take on occasional freelance editing work.
