I am a multi-award winning author of contemporary Commercial Women’s Fiction and romantic novels. I have won the the UK’s Romantic Novel of the Year and Australia’s Romantic Book of the Year awards, as well as several USA RWA chapter awards.

I have 16 published novels, under my own name or under the name Juliet Bell. 

For many years I was a reader and the coordinator of the RNA’s well regarded New Writers Scheme. I am a writing tutor, conducting workshops and retreats, and also each year take on a selected number of mentoring clients – offering manuscript critiques and structural editing advice, as well as advice on possible markets and submission processes.

I am also a founder and tutor for the Fiction Tutors Debut Author Club – offering advice and assistance to newly published authors, and authors nearing publication. 

Prior to becoming a novelist, I was a television journalist in Australia, Hong Kong and the UK. I also spent many years as a Broadcast Consultant, assisting the introduction of new production technology onto Television Stations and content producers. I am an experienced IT trainer, with a speciality in online training sessions.
