Jane Flett is a Scottish writer who lives in Berlin. She is the author of the queer literary horror novel, Freakslaw (Penguin/Zando).
 Her second novel, Welcome to the Chaoskampf, is forthcoming from Penguin in 2026.

Jane’s short fiction has been commissioned for BBC Radio 4, Highly Commended in the Bridport Prize, and featured in Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading. She is a recipient of the Scottish Book Trust New Writer Award, the New Orleans Writing Residency and the Berlin Senate Stipend for non-German literature. 

Her poetry has been published in POETRY Magazine and anthologised in the Best British Poetry

She is represented by Marina de Pass of the Soho Agency and Alexis Hurley of Inkwell Management.

Jane is also a tutor with The Reader Berlin and the co-founder of Ink and Salt Writing Retreats.
