I have lived and worked in Devon for the last 20 years. I’ve written  two non-fiction books:  ‘Training Young Athletes,’ and ‘Coaches Corner,’ as well as over 200 magazine and journal articles about sports coaching.

I started writing fiction in 2018 as part of a local writing group. I have been a member of two different writing groups since then.

I won Pen to Print’s ‘Short story of the year’ competition in 2022.

I received a year’s mentorship to help me complete my first novel, The Poster, which was runner-up in their 2024 Book Challenge,.

’The Poster’ was published in February 2024 It is a dystopian coming-of-age story about two siblings in Plymouth struggling to reunite with their family in wartime.

My second novel, ‘Stone and Water,’ a historical fantasy based in South-West England during the Roman invasion, is with an editor.

I am currently working on my third novel, a 1950 detective thriller.
