I’m a writer based in Thorpe Hamlet, Norfolk. My first book, Playtime’s Over (Propolis, 2021), is a novella about a young man coming to terms with his mental health problems and the impact they’ve had on his life, which he is in the process of ending. It’s also a love letter to my home city of Norwich.

My second book, Greyskin (Deixis Press, 2023), is a collection of interwoven stories in a fantasy western setting, looking at colonialism and race as well as exploring the legacy of the Western in cinema and literature. This was followed in 2025 by Parallels (a science fiction psychological thriller) and It’s Hard to Tell You This (a contemporary novella about love and regret), both published again by Deixis Press.

I also write science fiction, which I self publish under the name Ray Adams.
