Helen Jones was born and raised in south Wales, where she obtained a degree in Astrophysics before working as an Instrument Scientist and a Project & Programme Manager. In 2019, she took what was meant to be a one year career break, started writing and hasn’t looked back. She now lives in Gloucestershire with her husband and their dog. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, gardening, baking and building Lego. 

She is keen to address the under-representation of disabled and chronically ill people in her work, specifically those with invisible illnesses.

Her debut novel, The Domino Man, is out on 14 January 2027.
