Helen Jones is a crime fiction novelist, as well as dabbling in flash fiction, the latter published as Lena MacDonald. She is keen to address the under-representation of disabled and chronically ill people in her work, specifically those with invisible illnesses.

Helen was born in South Wales and started her career with a degree in Astrophysics before working as a meteorological instrument scientist, then a project/programme manager. She now lives in Gloucestershire with her husband and their dog.

She is represented by literary agent Judith Murray at Greene & Heaton.
