Hayley Wells is an Essex-based illustrator with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. Their author-illustrator debut, The More Monster, was published by Pavilion in 2022 and shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards. Hayley loves collaborating with other authors and has illustrated picture books, middle-grade fiction and gift books, which have been published worldwide.

When they’re not illustrating, Hayley can be found growing vegetables at their allotment or falling over on roller skates.
