Born in Denmark to a Danish father and Swedish mother, I have been immersed in these languages forever, as well as English since moving to England as a teenager, and Spanish following five years living there. Freelance translator since 2021, with a varied portfolio (see below) and a passion for literary translation.

Swedish to English: Translation of ‘Scandi-noir’ novels.
Danish to English: A range of text types and subjects, including medical, social services, asylum, police documents, marketing texts, company information, press releases, menus, manuals and short stories.
Spanish to English: Including palaeobotany/nature, medical and marketing texts.
Swedish and Norwegian: Medical reports and insurance documents/claims.
Active participation in continuing professional development (+ 30 hours per year), including translation workshops, revision clubs and mentor schemes, working on a range of text types and subjects.
