I’m the author of thirteen novels, several of which have been Sunday Times bestsellers, two Richard and Judy book club selections and one which won Good Housekeeping Book of the Year Award. Before I became a full-time writer I was an editor and publisher, first at Penguin Books then at Hodder Headline, where I also served on the board. I am an ambassador for the London Library and a volunteer with Inspiring the Future. I served on the SoA’s management committee from 2022-2025 and now chair the Policy and Campaigns sub-committee, working with the SOA’s policy team on areas such as AI, our Fair Share campaign, royalties, author publisher relations an much more. I am proud to work with the SoA who are doing such fantastic work standing up for authors.
