Gemma Ross has worked in the field of education for nearly twenty years, both in the UK and internationally.
This led her to write for several academic journals and co-edit a book on teaching methods. Comedy has been a huge part of her life, and in recent years she has produced The Comedy Historian Podcast with co-author Robert Ross, as well as recording Bluray commentaries for British Comedy Film releases. She continues to work as a teacher, with children in alternative
educational provision, as well as being actively involved in her co-founded association, Write On Comedy supporting writers and performers. She is currently writing her first play.
