My debut novel Reparation was runner up for the Society of Authors’ Paul Torday Prize. Prior to embarking on fiction I was a freelance TV producer mainly for BBC TV, and a print journalist on a wide range of publications. I am currently working on a second novel whilst also writing a book about the making of film director Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Psycho. My journalism has appeared in The Times, The Guardian, Huffpost UK, The Daily Mail and the Jewish Chronicle and many other publications. I’ve written extensively about my own breast cancer journey, as I am a carrier of the BRCA2 gene mutation.
