I have worked as a freelance editor for over 30 years, mainly on academic texts in a wide variety of subjects, ranging from the history of education to several medical specialties, notably orthopaedics.
I have also achieved two master’s degrees, both by distance learning, one in Translation and one in Novel Writing. My translation work is mainly pro bono for Translators Without Borders. I have published one novel, An Inessential Liaison, which is a work of historical fiction set in Normandy between 1943 and 1947. A second book is in progress, featuring the same characters but set at the time of the French student protests in 1968.
