Please see www.fionadunlop.com for details on my writing history, ongoing blog & some of my photos. London-based after nearly 20 years living in France, 2 years in Italy and many sojourns in Spain. I speak French fluently, Italian and Spanish adequately.
In brief: since the 1990s, a dozen or so solo-authored travel guides to countries ranging from Mexico and France to Vietnam, Indonesia and India. Researching a National Geographic guide to Spain inspired my first cookbook – New Tapas (2002), followed by three others including North Africa, Mexico and Andalucia. All four books showcased food culture, history and local chefs & cooks – as well as recipes.
Travel features in national newspapers, magazines and many websites. Some TV & radio.
