Originally from Essex, Faye has split her adult life between London and the Middle East, where she lived for nine years. Trained in stage management, she has worked in professional theatre and events as well as training in, performing and directing improv comedy in both London and Dubai.
In 2015 Faye was awarded an MA in Professional Writing and set up a copywriting business alongside her own improv theatre company. In the gaps between client work and performing, she began penning her first novel, Tinker, Tailor, Schoolmum, Spy, which won the 2020 Comedy Women in Print Prize and secured her first book deal, with HarperCollins.
Her second novel, Kiss, Marry, Murder will be published in May 2025.
Faye also writes poetry, focused on the joy, pain and humour of middle age.
