I am an award-winning debut author specialising in narrative non-fiction. My first book, Breaking Waves: Discovery, Healing and Inspiration in the Open Water is being published on March 27 2025 by Icon Books and is currently available for pre-order at Waterstones, Foyles and Amazon amongst others.

My next book centres on ‘tea’, the history and stories of tea, and how we translate our own heritage, rituals and cultures in ways other than words. (I am a qualified tea sommelier).

Future offerings include reflections on mothering teens, making mistakes and learning to let go; and a collection of soul stories showcasing the astonishing beauty and simplicity of people’s actions in the everyday.

I am the winner of the Wild Atlantic Writer’s Award 2023.
