I’m an emerging fiction writer, and an experienced copywriter/features writer and web content specialist (19+ years). I’m from a British Asian background, originally from Bolton and currently living in Manchester.

My short stories and flash pieces span genres including sci-fi, fantasy, realist fiction and horror. My work has been published in print and online by Comma Press, Arachne Press, Fox & Windmill, Tasavvur, and Fly on the Wall Press. I’m currently working on my first novel, and I graduated from the MA in Creative Writing at The University of Manchester with a distinction in 2022. 

I have performed readings and Q&As at Bradford Literature Festival, Ilkley Literature Festival, VIRSA South Asian Heritage Festival, and Sangam Festival, as well as at book launches and other one-off events. As a second-generation Indian immigrant from a working class background, I’m passionate about diversity in publishing, as well as the importance of indie presses and bookshops.
