Writer of UK nostalgia which looks back at entertainment, advertising and lifestyle from the 1970s and 1980s (I sometimes include earlier and later years).

I write and publish monthly posts on my website, Retrohen (https://retro-hen.com). My posts fall into these categories:

1. Retrohen Original: fun posts with a twist (approx. 300 – 600 words)

2. Rapid retro: shorter posts containing approx. 100 words.

3. Retro Life: interviews and out and about.

In 2017, I published The Great British Blog Book for Nostalgic Geeks – a fun, illustrated paperback containing fun stories based on advertising and entertainment from the 70s and 80s.

I followed this up in 2019 with Section N Underpass, a fun, illustrated hardback that follows the eventful train journey into the past for Carlton Krane.

I’ve had nostalgic articles published in Geeky Monkey and Yours Retro magazines. Two of my articles were also published in the football magazine, Late Tackle.

Born in Harlesden, NW London in 1970, I now reside in Urmston, Manchester.
