Having amassed a vast collection of worlds written for RPG, computer games, and film-work, I finally took the plunge and started to release my own novelisations through self-publishing channels in 2026. As I write in several diverse genres – from MG/YA, to crime thrillers and SF – I chose to do so only using pen names.

As a filmmaker, digital artist and designer, I also illustrate my own work. I teach creative writing, digital art, traditional art and filmmaking to students from 8 to 80. While I have taught at degree level, most of my teaching is now in adult education.

A group of four book series that were originally written as mini-series scripts, spanning four future ages and covering near-future science, magical pseudoscience, and far future space-opera. First book published, Summer 2026. (Flotsam City Book 1: Tree and Keys, 2026)

High fantasy in an alternate world. First book expected: Q1, 2027

Inspector Barbosa

Premiering with a book that starts like a Cleaves and ends like a Maclean, Inspector Barbosa follows the cases of a Spanish police detective relocated to Galicia and discovering unknown elements of her family past. First book published: Summer 2006 (Trinity Unbound, 2026)

Harmony Harris

A long in development series of adventure books for MG/YA and upwards charting the path of Harmony Harris in a familiar alternative world. Planned as a 40 book series, with 9 already nearing completion. First book expected: Q4 2026.

Most of my adult / general fiction is ‘normalised LGBT’. It can not be said to be true LGBT writing, written specifically for the LGBT marketplace, but anything that I do write makes the assumption that LGBT characters will take a normal, expected place in the character lineup. The hero still gets the girl – if the hero also happens to be a girl, that shouldn’t be a problem in the modern age!
