Chris Callaghan is a Children’s Author of the action-packed Shinoy and the Chaos Crew series of books and graphic novels. His first novel, The Great Chocoplot, was about the END of chocolate and he is not sorry about that. For his latest book, he set his wartime adventure, When the War Comes In, around his Tyneside hometown shipyards.

Chris is a former aircraft engineer in the Royal Air Force, he worked with the United Nations on Peacekeeping duties and was an Environmental Scientist.

He now prefers to write stories and encourage young people to find the joy in reading.
