I’m a picture book author with a passion for creating books that are simple but effective. Children are very perceptive, so I love to play with how the illustrations tell the story beneath the story, and let the children be in on the joke before the adult!

Although I write in English, my debut book, ‘Poes!’ (aka ‘Cat!’), was published in the Netherlands by Gottmer.

Amazingly, ‘Poes!’ was selected as one of the top 10 picture books of 2026 and will be featured in Reading Week later this year! ‘Poes’ was also given out to 32,500 newborns in 2025 as part of the Belgium Bookstart programme.

My second book ‘Ik Heb Honger!’ (‘I’m hungry!’) will be out in August 2026!

I am also the Regional Advisor for SCBWI (Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators) for the England South and London Region.
