Bryan J Mason has worked as a financial investigator, mediator and at one time made sound effects for BBC radio drama. He is now a full time crime writer. His first book, Shaking Hands With The Devil, was published 30 years after its first draft. He is currently published by SpellBound Books Ltd with An Old Tin Can the first in a new black comedy crime series set in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. The second, Dead On, is due to be published in summer 2025. He also writes regular theatre reviews for StageTalk magazine and Bristol 24/7
