I was born in Kenilworth (Warwickshire) in the UK in 1961. The fourth child of 5, three girls and two boys.

Most of us still talk and meet some of the time.

In 2024 I published my first children’s illustrated book “The Magic Bike”. This is based on a poem I wrote some years ago and, after digging it out of an archive of old (mostly unfinished) projects, was encouraged to have illustrated and turn it into something tangible.

I am working on my first fiction novel with the help and encouragement of those at Shut Up & Write, whilst being distracted by further poems for a second children’s book and a crime “short story” that seems to have developed “legs” and is becoming something more substantial.
