For as long as I can remember, I’ve been telling myself stories. While everyone else was paying attention in school or navigating the real world, you could usually find me wandering around somewhere entirely of my own invention, happily lost in a dream world.

For years, those characters and worlds lived exclusively inside my head, kept safe from the elements. But eventually, the sheer volume of plots became too loud to ignore, so I finally decided to put pen to paper and share them with the rest of you.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me indulging in a few quintessentially British quirks and habits—chief among them treating every minor crisis, inconvenience, or moment of celebration with the mandatory prescription of a strongly brewed cup of tea. I write through the depths of our proper, bone-chillingly cold, and stubbornly damp winters, and try to find inspiration during our summers, which are about as predictable and confusing as a British rail timetable.
