Birol Oğuz is a British-Turkish writer and translator. The acclaimed Black & White, Black & Blue and Black & Red trilogy (in Turkish) will become a quartet in 2027 with the addition of Arı Kovanı (The Bee Hive).

However, the main focus of Birol Oğuz’s writing in recent years has been to honour a promise made to publish the six English manuscripts written over the previous decade. Following EDDIE & RUPERT, the order is to publish THE WELKIN in 2028, trailed by BYZ in 2029, AWFUL in 2031, BETH in 2032 and the final novel in following year (yet to be given a title).

Birol Oğuz lives in Seville, with regular visits to friends and family in London and Istanbul. Birol Oğuz writes, draws, cooks, runs and sails, while on frequent occasions, too close to the wind.
