I started writing during my service with the Royal Air Force (1997-2002) and am now a freelance communicator with over 21 years of experience. After gaining experience as a social researcher within the Third Sector, I established McClelland & Chase Communications Bureau to develop my skills as a communicator, producing specialist articles, images, and feature-length works delivered independently or commissioned by third parties.

Since establishing McClelland & Chase Communications Bureau, I have produced over one hundred articles on art, military, aviation, social and rural themes for various publishers and select third parties. As a freelance author with Pen & Sword Books, my work has focused on military history, transportation and aviation subjects resulting in several worldwide publications, often featuring my own artwork.

I continue to develop my professional practice as a communicator, and am proud to have been elected as a Liveryman of the Company of Communicators in recognition of my work and experience.
