Ashley Chalmers grew up in Bucks County, PA, before moving to New York to study Arts Administration. After eight years in NYC, a six-month stint as a global nomad, and one year living in the French countryside, she settled on the UK as her official landing spot.

Along with studying under Pippa Goodhart through her course, ‘Writing for Children,’ offered via the University of Cambridge’s ICE program, Ashley is also a graduate of Curtis Brown Creative’s Writing YA and Children’s Fiction course, led by Emily Barr and Craig Barr-Green.

Ashley’s debut novel, ALL THIS COULD BE YOURS, will be published by Berkley, an imprint of Penguin Random House, in 2027. She’s represented by Gwen Beal at UTA (US) and Ciara Finan at Curtis Brown (UK).
