Arden is a working class children’s author represented by Molly Jamieson at United Agents.

She is the founder and host of KidLit LIVE, a regular live YouTube show that showcases both unpublished and published authors and illustrators and includes conversations with publishing professionals.

She is one of 3 podcasters on the monthly YA Book Club Podcast YA Book Jam.

As well as writing and running KidLit LIVE & being a podcaster, Arden is the Submissions Coordinator at The Good Literary Agency.

Books are her escapism, her relaxation, her inspiration, and writing is something she has always loved & found comfort in, but never felt quite good enough for it to be a profession. She didn’t think she, a person from a working-class background and from, let’s say a ‘difficult childhood’ could ever become a published author or have a successful career.

Arden wishes she could go back to tell her younger self to believe in herself, not to accept anything or anyone less than she deserves, and that one day she will be achieving her dreams.​​​
