Anna Moutra was born in Athens, Greece. She holds a BA in Greek Philology from the School of Philosophy of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed her MA and PhD in Curriculum, Pedagogy, Assessment & Inclusive Education at the UCL Institute of Education in London. Her academic and professional interests lie in the field of equality, diversity and inclusion, where she continues to contribute through her work.

Her debut novel, My Dear Friend: An Unexpected Journey, is the first part of a contemporary fiction series. Her work explores contemporary themes and offers an insightful examination of modern life, weaving complex characters and situations that invite readers to engage with their own experiences and perspectives, encouraging deep reflection and emotional connection.
