I have over 10 years of commercial translation experience, specialising in law, finance, and creative text types such as websites and social media posts.

I also translate literary prose and am available for sample translations and reader’s reports. I am particularly interested in Austrian literature, as well as crime, Cold War era and historical fiction.

In 2025, I completed an internship with New Books in German where I supported the selection of a shortlist of contemporary German-language fiction and non-fiction and conducted interviews with translators and publishers, some of which I translated from German to appear on the website. I also regularly write reader’s reports for New Books in German.

I recently worked with a group of other translators to complete a sample from Jana Volkmann’s ‘Der beste Tag seit langem’.

I have attended the Bristol Translates and British Centre for Literary Translation summer schools and have an MA in Translation from the University of Bristol.
