Writing represents the most spellbinding process of human language. It bears the seal of the spoken word into an everlasting evince of encoding across time and space.​ I have been fascinated by the different writing systems of the world since, childhood.

Trained as linguist, I opted to work as a translator in the 1980’s. Since, I have been translating from English and German into Hindi and vice versa. Aside literary books, my translations include memoirs, travel writing and narrative reportage.

In addition to translation, I’m an editor of fiction (including adult, children’s and children’s picture books), and narrative non-fiction (memoir, travel writing and reportage).​​​​​​​​

I’m a published author of short stories.
