I am a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist and have worked in the area of mental health for over 15 years. I weave together nature writing, non-fiction and academic writing on areas related to mental health, child development, parenting and attachment.

My current book Places of Safety: how attachment shapes our parenting, was published by Karnac in April 2026.

My background and first degree was in Drama, theatre and the performing arts / performance poetry.

Current projects in progress include: a non-fiction on a Field Guide to Grief, a non-fiction book exploring the roots of anger from a psychotherapeutic perspective, a memoir / creative non-fiction book about family mental illness, shame and sacrifice, and a non-fiction book reflecting on the nature of home, migration and displacement.
