My debut, STORM, was reviewed on BBC radio, covered by The Bookseller, and featured an indie-darling rock band at its launch. But what I’m most proud of is its strangeness.

Like much of my body of work, it is an experimental, accessible narrative exploring the oddities of our own ontology. It is also a romance, a coming-of-age, and a ghost story.

I have appeared in well-established literary magazines like The New Welsh Review, pioneering online spaces like The Forge, and even wrote the opening notes to an exhibition to an exhibition in the Goethe Institut Ireland. I’ve written neon retellings of Dante, imaginings of the rapture, and on working to music.

Alongside this, I have built a reputation as a respectable operative within higher education, capable of achieving in both academic and professional services roles. As a lecturer, I received Aberystwyth University’s lecturer of the year award in 2025. As a researcher, I’ve written on literature’s power to illustrate socio-political dynamics. As the lead for enterprise in AU’s career service, I’m revitalizing elements of our programme to support those interested in entrepreneurial careers across the creative industries.

This vast array of experience and expertise has led to my delivering bespoke creative writing workshops for festivals, higher education institutions and charities. Alongside this, I have advised and consulted on communications and storytelling strategies for organisations seeking to make a positive impact.

Currently, I’m working on my second novel, a cli-fi romance concerning rising water levels and high-school sweethearts, a script about a clownish detective who keeps narrowly avoiding death, and am keen to collaborate with other creatives.
