Albrin Junior is an award-winning author, poet, scriptwriter, and director. His debut novel, Naked Coin, a historical fiction action thriller, earned the prestigious Lagos Book House Award for Book of the Year in 2020.

Albrin holds a BSc in Geography and Regional Planning from Ambrose Alli University and an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, where he was also honored with the African Excellence Award. His writing, often praised for its rich texture and depth, draws comparisons to literary luminaries such as Chinua Achebe and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

Albrin’s work has appeared in esteemed publications, including The Brussels Review, Decolonial Passage, and RandomPhoto Journal.

His new book titled From Glasgow Without Love, is a collection of 10 short stories, set between Nigeria and Glasgow.
