Cancelled – Somerset Group: Pitfalls and Scams

Come along to the next meeting of the Somerset Group on Wednesday 22 January at 12pm for a talk on common writing and publishing scams and pitfalls.

Join SoA advisors Elizabeth Haylett Clark and Kate Pool as they highlight the key areas where authors should tread carefully: Are you being asked to pay someone to publish your book? Have you read the terms and conditions for that literary prize? Should you agree to work for free? Is that email from “Hollywood” legit? They will discuss those scams and pitfalls that often mislead members and exchange tips and advice so that you can spot the signs and wise up.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been to a meet-up before – this is a joint local groups event, so all members welcome!
