Grab a cuppa and join us for our Spring Coffee and Chat event held at our London offices on Bedford Row. Meet and mingle with SoA staff and fellow members, and hear a few words from novelist and crime writer, Harriet Tyce.
This is a seated event. Hot drinks and cakes will be served.

- 11.30am – Welcome and introductions from SoA’s CEO, Anna Ganley
- 11.35am – Anna Ganley hosts a short in conversation with novelist and crime writer, Harriet Tyce (20 mins). Harriet will share tips about her journey so far.
- 12pm – Mingling and networking
- 12.30pm – Close
The Line up
Harriet Tyce
Born and educated in Edinburgh, Harriet Tyce graduated from Oxford University in 1994 with a degree in English Literature before working as a criminal barrister for nearly a decade.
In 2017 she graduated from the University of East Anglia with a MA in Creative Writing – Crime Fiction, and her debut Blood Orange was published in 2019. This was a Sunday Times bestseller and won a Neilsen gold award in 2020 as one of the bestselling novels of the year, and was translated into 27 languages. It was followed by further Sunday Times bestsellers The Lies You Told and It Ends At Midnight. A Lesson in Cruelty was published in April 2024 to great critical acclaim. Witch Trial will be published on 26 February 2026.
Harriet was a contestant on The Traitors Series 4.

Our Events space is located on the ground floor of our office. We have a wheelchair ramp at the side entrance of the building. We also have an accessible toilet by the side entrance.
