SoA in Scotland: Summer Picnic

Join the Society of Authors in Scotland on Sunday 23 August from 1.30pm for our annual summer picnic! We will meet by the RLS (Robert Louis Stevenson) Memorial next to the Ross Fountain, West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh EH2 3AA. Come along to this informal event to relax, meet and chat with other members who may be in town for the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Bring your own food and drink.

Members can drop by at any time over the two hour period. No need to book in advance, but registering helps us with expected numbers.

As this event is held outdoors, inclement weather may lead to its cancellation at short notice.

This event is hosted by the Society of Authors in Scotland committee, supported by the Edinburgh local group.
